Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute regulatory strategies, ensuring local implementation aligns with Tether’s broader Latin American objectives.
- Engage with regulatory authorities, industry bodies, and policymakers to advocate for innovation-friendly policies.
- Analyze local regulatory proposals and provide actionable strategic recommendations to senior management.
- Manage the process of obtaining necessary license approvals and coordinate responses to regulatory inquiries.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with legal, compliance, and expansion teams to address emerging regulatory challenges.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of regulatory experience within the financial services or crypto-asset industry.
- Deep understanding of the regulatory frameworks in Argentina and the ability to apply them strategically.
- Proven experience working with or within regulatory authorities, such as central banks or financial supervisory agencies.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to represent the company in high-level regulatory discussions.
- Fluency in English and native proficiency in the local language of Argentina.
- University degree in Law, Economics, Political Science, or a related field.
