Regional Director of Operations

Jobgether is seeking an experienced Regional Director of Operations to oversee the technical and operational performance of a portfolio of AI data centre facilities across the EMEA region. This leadership role focuses on driving operational excellence, infrastructure reliability, and strategic growth within a fast-paced, high-accountability environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction across EMEA site management, facility and IT infrastructure, logistics, and service operations.
• Lead and develop the regional operations organization, establishing consistent standards, processes, and procedures.
• Maintain accountability for safety, security, service availability, and operational efficiency.
• Manage critical incidents, escalations, and post-incident reviews across business-critical environments.
• Build and maintain senior relationships with key third-party providers, customers, and internal stakeholders.

Requirements

• Extensive professional experience in data centre facilities, IT infrastructure, or other highly critical operational environments.
• Proven ability to lead operations engineering teams and manage complex, live business-critical environments.
• Strong technical understanding of electrical systems, mechanical cooling, and IT/OT infrastructure.
• Extensive experience in incident management, risk assessment, change control, and supplier management.
• Excellent leadership capabilities with a focus on building accountable, high-performing teams.
