Reconciliation & Payments Specialist

Chargeflow is a leading fintech company dedicated to revolutionizing eCommerce by protecting online businesses from chargeback fraud. We are looking for a detail-oriented Reconciliation & Payments Specialist to join our Billing & Collections team and take full ownership of our payment matching processes.

Key responsibilities

• Reconcile customer payments against invoices across our entire client base, from SMBs to large Enterprise accounts.
• Investigate unmatched, partial, or unexpected items to identify root causes and ensure all accounts are balanced.
• Track outstanding debts and follow up persistently until every item is fully resolved, even beyond month-end.
• Manage complex data sets in Excel, ensuring all working papers are clear, accurate, and well-documented.
• Collaborate with internal teams and customers to resolve billing discrepancies through clear, professional communication.
• Identify opportunities to transition manual, repetitive tasks into AI-assisted workflows using modern tools.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in reconciliation, collections, billing, or accounts receivable, preferably in SaaS or fintech.
• Advanced Excel skills, including proficiency with pivot tables, lookups, and handling large data sets.
• A strong ownership mindset with the persistence to resolve discrepancies and unpaid items thoroughly.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a critical eye for identifying inconsistencies across multiple systems.
• Native or near-native English proficiency with the ability to explain complex financial issues in simple terms.
• Curiosity and willingness to leverage AI tools to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
