R Developer with Bio Background

Appsilon is seeking a skilled R Developer with a strong background in bioinformatics to join our team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in statistical programming and clinical data to build impactful solutions that support scientific and clinical decision-making processes worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain R-based solutions for statistical programming, data manipulation, and visualization.
• Apply CDISC standards such as SDTM, ADaM, and SEND to ensure industry compliance.
• Program Tables, Listings, and Figures (TLF) to support clinical trial reporting.
• Ensure all development adheres to validation principles within a GxP environment.
• Manage requirements and contribute to backlog planning for data-driven projects.

Requirements

• Proficiency in R for data science and statistical analysis.
• Solid understanding of the end-to-end drug development lifecycle and clinical trial workflows.
• Experience with version control systems, specifically Git.
• Master’s degree in bioinformatics, computer science, data science, biostatistics, or a related field.
• Must be located in the EMEA or LATAM regions.
