Quality Engineering Manager

airSlate is a global SaaS company specializing in no-code workflow automation, electronic signatures, and document management. We are seeking a hands-on Quality Engineering Manager to lead our team and drive the transition to agentic quality engineering for our signature solution, SignNow.

Key responsibilities

• Define quality architecture, including frameworks and the roadmap from traditional automation to agentic solutions.
• Manage, mentor, and provide technical direction for a team of 6-10 Automation Quality Engineers.
• Maintain and evolve the existing test automation framework while refactoring as necessary.
• Partner with engineering leaders to design deterministic agent workflows and non-deterministic LLM-assisted approaches.
• Build observability tools, coverage dashboards, and CI quality gates to improve engineering efficiency.
• Validate AI-powered features through behavioral testing and output evaluation.

Requirements

• 7+ years in software engineering, AQE, or SDET with a focus on quality leadership.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Java or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• 3+ years of direct management experience, including hiring, performance management, and career development.
• Proven experience building and shipping agentic testing systems in production.
• Strong expertise in automation architecture, CI/CD integration, and quality-by-design principles.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
