we support our partners in building strong and sustainable digital teams. For one of our partners — a Swiss-based company operating in the fintech sector — we are currently looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer (QA).

This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and international engineering environment, where you will take ownership of end-to-end quality assurance processes across backend services, APIs, and digital platforms. You will collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and engineering teams and contribute to stable, scalable, and high-quality releases within an innovative fintech ecosystem.

Your Impact

• You act as the final quality gatekeeper before releases, taking ownership of the release cycle and ensuring all features are fully validated and meet high deployment standards.
• You deep-dive into backend services, microservices, and API architectures to ensure stable and reliable integrations with external partners.
• You perform end-to-end manual and automated testing across the full stack, including backend services, mobile applications, and web platforms.
• You work closely with developers and product owners to define test scopes, challenge requirements, and proactively prevent defects before release.
• You create, enhance, and scale automated testing suites within the CI/CD ecosystem, ensuring high-impact regression tests provide fast and reliable feedback.
• You support and drive the adoption of AI-driven testing tools and innovative QA practices to continuously optimize workflows and improve testing efficiency.
• You contribute to delivering high-quality releases in a fast-paced fintech environment.

Your Talent

• You have proven experience in testing complex backend services and APIs.
• You bring hands-on experience with frontend testing across mobile and web applications, as well as a solid understanding of test automation frameworks.
• You are proficient in Python or motivated to transition to it for script-based testing.
• You think with a quality-first mindset and are familiar with design patterns such as Page Object, as well as Agile ways of working.
• You are a proactive and hands-on team player who thrives under tight deadlines and enjoys working in a fast-paced fintech environment.
• You communicate clearly and confidently in English, while (Swiss-) German is considered a strong plus.
