Quality Assurance Engineer

SOFTSWISS is seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Casino Platform team. You will play a vital role in ensuring the reliability and high quality of our core infrastructure, which supports operators in managing and scaling their online casino businesses globally.

Key responsibilities

• Review functional requirements and technical design documents to identify potential quality risks early in the development lifecycle.
• Test backend and frontend functionality, including complex business logic, APIs, service integrations, and React-based applications.
• Design and execute comprehensive test scenarios covering functional, integration, and end-to-end flows.
• Develop and maintain automated tests using Java or TypeScript with modern tools such as Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.
• Investigate, document, and track defects while collaborating closely with developers to resolve root causes.

Requirements

• Proven hands-on experience in software testing, specifically covering backend functionality, APIs, and asynchronous message-driven integrations.
• Strong proficiency in testing React-based web applications and end-to-end user flows.
• Solid understanding of databases with practical experience writing complex SQL queries.
• Demonstrated experience in test automation using Java or TypeScript.
• Professional proficiency in both English and Russian (B2+ level).
