QA/QC Intern

Flowmingo is a Y Combinator-backed startup dedicated to democratizing the hiring process through an AI-native interviewing platform. We are looking for a detail-oriented QA/QC Intern to join our team and ensure our platform delivers a seamless experience for millions of candidates worldwide, regardless of their device or location.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct rigorous testing of our AI interview flow across a wide variety of mobile devices and browsers to identify real-world edge cases.
• Adopt a breaker mindset to proactively identify platform vulnerabilities, such as connectivity issues or permission denials.
• Collaborate directly with Engineering and Product teams to manage releases and ensure high-quality standards before deployment.
• Translate complex bug reports into clear, actionable engineering tickets with precise reproduction steps.
• Identify gaps in existing testing workflows and suggest improvements based on user data.

Requirements

• High attention to detail with the ability to spot subtle UI inconsistencies or performance issues.
• Technical proficiency, including the ability to use browser developer tools to inspect elements and network errors.
• Strong logical thinking skills to isolate variables and identify the root cause of technical issues.
• Deep empathy for the user experience, understanding the impact of technical errors on candidate opportunities.
• A strong interest in tech products and a curiosity about how software functions under the hood.
