Physitrack PLC is seeking a dedicated QA Engineer to join our team in a fully remote capacity. You will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our web and mobile applications by deeply understanding our product architecture, data flows, and API contracts to prevent issues before they reach production.
Key responsibilities
- Test web and mobile applications across iOS and Android, focusing on end-to-end functionality, frontend behavior, and backend responses.
- Own and maintain our automated test coverage using Playwright, ensuring reliability and investigating failures.
- Verify system integrity at the API and data layer, including database queries and payload validation.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to pressure-test specifications and identify edge cases early in the development cycle.
- Debug issues to their root cause and provide actionable reports to developers while supporting the wider business with customer issue triage.
- Utilize AI tools to streamline testing processes and improve overall quality standards.
Requirements
- Three to five years of hands-on experience in testing web applications with a focus on root cause analysis.
- Practical experience with test automation frameworks like Playwright.
- Ability to read API contracts, perform SQL queries, and use traffic inspection tools.
- Strong understanding of mobile testing conventions and device/OS coverage requirements.
- Proven track record of collaborating effectively with Product and Design teams during the specification phase.
