QA Engineer

Halborn is an elite cybersecurity company dedicated to solving complex adversarial problems within the cryptocurrency and fintech industries. We are seeking a QA Engineer to join our globally distributed team and take ownership of quality across our internal platforms and client-facing products.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain automated test suites for UI, API, and data layers to ensure fast and reliable coverage.
• Implement and tune quality gates in CI/CD pipelines to prevent broken builds and maintain rapid feedback loops.
• Identify manual QA processes and automate them, including test data generation, smoke verification, and reporting.
• Utilize LLM-assisted tooling to accelerate test authoring, generate edge cases, and triage regressions.
• Partner with security engineers to integrate security regression checks into the standard development pipeline.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of experience in QA engineering, SDET, or test automation with a focus on automated coverage.
• Strong programming skills in TypeScript, JavaScript, or Python, with the ability to write maintainable test code.
• Hands-on experience with modern automation frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, or pytest.
• Practical experience with API testing, including REST or GraphQL services.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD systems and comfort with Git and containerized environments.
• Excellent written communication skills for an asynchronous, distributed team environment.
