QA Engineer — Mobile / Android (Contract, remote)

Bespokesoft Piotr Chabros is looking for a dedicated QA Engineer to join a small, agile team focused on maintaining high quality for our Android application. This role involves a mix of hands-on manual testing and the development of automation strategies to ensure efficient and reliable software releases.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and document complex bugs within the Android application environment.
• Execute manual testing procedures to ensure high-quality user experiences.
• Develop and maintain test automation scripts to streamline the release process.
• Collaborate closely with the development team to resolve issues and improve product stability.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing workflows and quality assurance standards.

Requirements

• Solid experience in manual testing, UI testing, and integrating test automation.
• Hands-on proficiency with Android Studio, Kotlin, and Espresso or comparable technologies.
• Practical experience working with Selenium (Java) and Appium.
• Familiarity with Java, REST interfaces, Git, Jira, Flipper, Proxyman, and Paw/RapidAPI.
• A proactive mindset with an interest in leveraging AI to optimize testing processes.
