QA Engineer – Embedded Software Quality

CSHARK is looking for a QA Engineer to join a project focused on on-device AI audio and speech products. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality, performance, and stability of an embedded audio SDK integrated into various consumer devices.

Key responsibilities

• Test the embedded SDK on real hardware, focusing on latency, memory, CPU/NPU/DSP load, power consumption, and thermal behavior.
• Design and maintain regression suites to identify performance and stability changes across releases.
• Develop automated test tooling using Python and integrate these solutions into CI pipelines.
• Profile on-device behavior using tools like adb and Perfetto to create detailed, reproducible bug reports.
• Collaborate closely with SDK developers to investigate and resolve issues at the C/C++ level.

Requirements

• Several years of experience in QA or test engineering for embedded or mobile software.
• Strong proficiency in Python for test automation and tooling development.
• Hands-on experience with adb, Perfetto, and on-device profiling techniques.
• Ability to read and debug C/C++ code effectively.
• Experience measuring system performance metrics on real hardware and managing CI pipelines.
• Fluent English communication skills.
