QA Automation Engineer

YourITeams is looking for a dedicated QA Automation Engineer to join a focused product squad. You will play a pivotal role in modernizing a PHP platform and migrating it to Laravel, ensuring high quality through robust test automation and strategic oversight.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain automated test suites for UI, API, integration, and regression scenarios using tools like Cypress or Selenium.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to facilitate continuous validation and rapid feedback loops.
• Perform risk-based quality assessments to determine release readiness and prioritize testing efforts effectively.
• Collaborate with backend, frontend, SRE, and product teams to define testability, acceptance criteria, and automation strategies.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to the continuous improvement of QA standards and quality metrics.

Requirements

• Proven experience in QA automation with hands-on expertise in Cypress, Selenium, or similar frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of UI, API, integration, and regression testing practices.
• Practical experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and familiarity with PHP.
• Experience testing REST or API-first, service-based architectures.
• Strong analytical skills and English language proficiency at a C1 level.
