QA Automation Engineer

emagine Polska is seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer to join our team and drive our quality engineering strategy forward. In this hands-on, delivery-focused role, you will work within product teams to build, maintain, and scale automated testing frameworks, ensuring high-quality software delivery through modern, AI-assisted practices.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain automated tests across API, UI, integration, and regression layers using established frameworks.
• Apply AI tools like LLMs and GitHub Copilot to generate test cases, data, and automation code efficiently.
• Integrate automated suites into CI/CD pipelines to ensure rapid feedback on every commit and release.
• Collaborate with developers and product owners to promote shift-left testing and improve overall testability.
• Manage test environments and track quality KPIs to ensure consistent, measurable improvements.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in QA, with 3+ years specifically in writing test automation.
• Strong coding proficiency in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Java.
• Hands-on experience with frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, or REST-assured.
• Solid understanding of API testing and CI/CD pipeline integration.
• Fluent English communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
