QA Automation Engineer – API & Performance Testing

Nagarro is a global digital product engineering company seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer to drive quality across complex, distributed systems. In this role, you will design and implement robust, scalable, and intelligent test automation solutions, focusing on API testing, system integration, and performance validation to ensure the delivery of high-quality products.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable test automation frameworks covering API, integration, contract, and regression testing.
• Develop and execute comprehensive API testing strategies to validate functionality, data integrity, and system contracts.
• Build and maintain automated quality gates within CI/CD pipelines to prevent non-compliant changes from reaching production.
• Design and execute performance and scalability testing to identify bottlenecks and reliability issues.
• Collaborate with software engineers, architects, and DevOps teams to improve quality engineering practices.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in software engineering, QA automation, or software quality engineering.
• Expert-level experience in API testing and strong knowledge of API development and integration.
• Proven experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and implementing quality gates.
• Hands-on experience with property-based testing, mutation testing, and validating API/data contracts.
• Practical experience with performance testing and identifying system bottlenecks.
