QA Automation Engineer - Freelance

Netguru is a trusted partner in digital commerce, helping leading brands modernize B2B solutions, marketplaces, and retail ecosystems. We are looking for a skilled QA Automation Engineer to join our team on a freelance basis and contribute to building high-quality software for global clients.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test code from scratch using JavaScript.
• Implement and manage test automation frameworks using WebdriverIO, Mocha, and Chai.
• Configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines, specifically Drone CI, to execute tests across various environments.
• Manage test cases and track results using TestRail or similar industry-standard tools.
• Take full ownership of the automation test suite and drive improvements to existing testing processes.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and a solid developer mindset.
• Hands-on experience with WebdriverIO, Mocha, and Chai.
• Proven experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing in QA, UAT, and Production environments.
• Ability to work independently and proactively improve automation coverage.
• Experience with Salesforce testing or React-based applications is considered a strong asset.
