HeadSpin is seeking an architect-level Automation Framework Engineer to design, build, and scale enterprise-grade automation frameworks. You will be responsible for creating robust solutions across UI, API, and document-heavy workflows, ensuring long-term stability and security as our applications and delivery pipelines evolve.
Key responsibilities
- Architect, build, and maintain scalable UI automation frameworks using Playwright and Selenium.
- Design frameworks that support multiple teams, applications, and complex CI/CD pipelines.
- Develop reusable API and integration testing components using tools like Postman, GraphQL, and REST clients.
- Implement automation observability, including logging, diagnostics, and flaky test detection.
- Drive AI-assisted QA initiatives, focusing on test generation, regression optimization, and failure triage.
Requirements
- Extensive hands-on experience in building and maintaining enterprise-level automation frameworks.
- Advanced proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, or C#.
- Strong expertise with Playwright, Selenium, or equivalent automation frameworks.
- Proven experience with CI/CD integration, preferably within Azure DevOps environments.
- Ability to articulate complex framework design decisions, tradeoffs, and architectural strategies.
