Paralucent is seeking a dedicated QA Analyst to serve as a critical quality gate for Tier 2 support, release validation, and defect management. In this fully remote role, you will ensure production stability by rigorously testing fixes and releases across a diverse portfolio of custom .NET, Microsoft SharePoint, and vendor-supported SaaS applications.
Key responsibilities
- Reproduce reported issues, validate fixes against acceptance criteria, and document comprehensive test evidence.
- Execute manual and automated regression and impact testing to ensure system integrity across workflows.
- Manage the end-to-end defect lifecycle, including logging, tracking, and retesting using tools like Azure DevOps or JIRA.
- Build and maintain lean, reusable regression test packs and incident-based scenarios to enhance QA efficiency.
- Support release validation by performing smoke and regression testing for patches and maintenance updates.
Requirements
- Over 10 years of experience in enterprise QA and testing, with a focus on production or operational support.
- Proven expertise in both manual and automation testing, including writing, debugging, and maintaining scripts using tools like Playwright-Typescript or Selenium-Java.
- Strong technical background working with .NET and Microsoft SharePoint applications.
- Proficiency in defect tracking and test management tools such as Azure DevOps, JIRA, or TestRail.
- Excellent documentation skills with the ability to provide clear, stakeholder-ready reporting on risks and release readiness.
