QA AI Automation Staff Engineer

emagine Polska is seeking an experienced QA AI Automation Staff Engineer to define and elevate our quality strategy across a distributed engineering organization. This role focuses on reimagining quality engineering through AI-driven methodologies, guiding teams to build faster, more reliable, and scalable products.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement the overall QA automation and quality engineering strategy across the full delivery lifecycle.
• Investigate and apply AI/ML tools for automated test generation, defect prediction, and self-healing test suites.
• Build and maintain scalable test automation frameworks for API, UI, regression, and integration testing.
• Mentor and upskill QA engineers by introducing advanced tools and methodologies.
• Partner with engineering teams to integrate AI capabilities directly into CI/CD pipelines for smarter test orchestration.

Requirements

• 8+ years in Quality Engineering, including 3+ years in a QA automation leadership role.
• Strong coding background in languages such as Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Java.
• Deep understanding of automation frameworks like Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or REST-assured.
• Hands-on experience leveraging AI tools and LLMs to enhance QA processes.
• Fluent English communication skills with the ability to influence and mentor distributed teams.
