QA / Test Automation Engineer

emagine Polska is looking for a dedicated QA / Test Automation Engineer to join our team in a fully remote capacity. This role is primarily automation-driven, focusing on the execution and maintenance of automated testing processes, including the ownership of automated integration and E2E test suites.

Key responsibilities

• Designing and implementing the automated end-to-end test suite using Playwright for critical user journeys.
• Developing automated API and integration tests against module interfaces using tools such as Postman, Newman, or REST Assured.
• Setting up and executing load and performance tests using tools like JMeter or Gatling.
• Integrating automated test suites into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure robust coverage and quality-gate reporting.
• Coordinating manual User Acceptance Testing with users, structuring scripts, and consolidating results.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software quality assurance with a strong focus on test automation.
• Hands-on experience with E2E test automation frameworks, ideally Playwright.
• Proficiency in API and integration testing tools and load/performance testing methodologies.
• Native Portuguese speaker or C2 level proficiency, alongside fluent English for documentation and communication.
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and coordinating manual acceptance testing.
