Python QA Automation Team Lead

XM is looking for an experienced Python QA Automation Team Lead to join our dynamic QA department. This role is perfect for a professional who combines deep technical expertise in automation with strong leadership skills to drive high-quality software delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a QA team with a focus on shift-left automation strategies.
• Design and develop scalable, maintainable test automation frameworks using Python.
• Collaborate with development, DevOps, and product teams to ensure alignment across the SDLC.
• Review test plans, strategies, and automated test scripts to ensure high code quality and coverage.
• Identify team training needs and promote knowledge sharing to foster professional growth.

Requirements

• BSc/MSc in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in QA with at least 2 years in a leadership role managing direct reports.
• Strong proficiency in Python, API testing, and tools such as Kafka, Docker, and AWS.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Agile methodologies, and version control systems like Git.
• Experience with performance testing using K6 and mocking frameworks like WireMock.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
