Python Engineer

S-PRO is looking for a skilled Python Engineer to join a long-term collaboration with a prominent European investment firm. You will work on an AI-powered platform, developing automated decision-making workflows and managing business-critical financial data systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable backend APIs using Python and AWS Lambda.
• Build and maintain data models and schema migrations using PostgreSQL on AWS RDS.
• Set up and maintain infrastructure-as-code using Terraform.
• Build and orchestrate complex workflows using AWS Step Functions.
• Collaborate with DevOps to establish efficient CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Python 3 and web frameworks like Flask.
• Proven experience developing serverless applications using AWS Lambda and Step Functions.
• Solid understanding of PostgreSQL and AWS RDS deployment.
• Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure management and OpenAPI for API documentation.
• Experience with Git workflows and CI/CD pipeline management.
