Python Developer

We are a recruitment company supporting an international technology project in the financial services domain.

We are currently looking for a Mid-level Python Developer to join a remote team working on an AML (Anti-Money Laundering) solution used in the client onboarding process.

Work model: 100% remote
Cooperation type: B2B
Rate: up to 145 PLN/h
Location: Poland / EU-based (preferred)

Project Overview

You will be working on an automated research platform hosted in Microsoft Azure. The system retrieves company data from official registries (e.g. Companies House and international equivalents) and uses it to automatically generate and populate compliance forms based on PDF templates.

Your main focus will be on extending the existing solution with new form types and supporting further international expansion.

Responsibilities

• Designing, developing, and maintaining backend services in Python using Azure Functions
• Integrating with external APIs and data sources
• Working with PostgreSQL and Azure Storage
• Extending the platform with new form types and features
• Collaborating with the team on international rollout and system scalability

Requirements

• Solid commercial experience with Python
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, especially Azure Functions
• Experience with relational databases (ideally PostgreSQL)
• Strong API development and integration skills
• Familiarity with Azure Storage

Nice to Have

• Experience in the financial / AML / compliance domain
• Knowledge of PDF automation / document generation libraries
