Python Developer (mid/senior) - freelance

Monterail is looking for experienced Python Developers to join their Tech Network, a curated community of freelance experts collaborating on diverse commercial projects. Key responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and extend robust Python applications across various commercial projects.
• Design and optimize database structures and background processing systems to ensure high performance and reliability.
• Work with cloud infrastructure and implement modern deployment practices to support scalable solutions.
• Take full ownership of complex systems, focusing on refactoring, improvement, and long-term health.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, project managers, and clients, while actively participating in code reviews.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Python, specifically using frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
• Solid knowledge of PostgreSQL and practical experience working with AWS or comparable cloud platforms.
• A proactive DevOps mindset, with familiarity with Terraform considered a significant advantage.
• Ability to manage and enhance complex systems independently with a high level of ownership.
• Fluent communication skills in both English and Polish to facilitate effective collaboration.
