Python Data Engineer

AgileEngine is an Inc. 5000 company that creates award-winning software for Fortune 500 brands and trailblazing startups. We are looking for a Python Data Engineer to join our team and manage robust data ingestion workflows within an Enterprise Service Management environment.

Key responsibilities

• Engineer, automate, and manage robust workflows that ingest data.
• Ensure data pipelines integrate seamlessly with downstream systems, including ServiceNow.
• Leverage Snowflake and OpenTelemetry to optimize data flow and system observability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve bottlenecks or failures within automated data pipelines.
• Implement data validation checks and maintain data integrity across all workflows.

Requirements

• 4+ years of backend development experience using Python.
• Experience building data ingestion workflows and pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake and OpenTelemetry.
• Proven ability to build integrations with ServiceNow.
• Strong SQL skills for data manipulation and querying.
• Upper-Intermediate English level.
