Public Relations Manager

WEKA is a growth-stage company building a unified software platform for AI training, inference, and agentic workloads. We are looking for a Public Relations Manager to lead our media engine and establish WEKA as a primary authority in the enterprise AI infrastructure space.

Key responsibilities

• Pitch and place stories with tier-one tech, business, and AI trade media to build lasting relationships.
• Develop sharp points of view on breaking industry trends and secure expert commentary for WEKA spokespeople.
• Establish WEKA experts as recognized voices through bylines, contributed articles, podcasts, and speaking opportunities.
• Execute end-to-end PR for product launches and company milestones, including press releases and embargo management.
• Manage external agency operations to ensure high-quality output and consistent media results.
• Track and report on PR performance metrics, including share of voice, sentiment, and media penetration.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in PR or corporate communications within the B2B tech or data infrastructure sectors.
• Proven track record of securing top-tier media placements and managing complex, embargoed news cycles.
• Strong editorial judgment and exceptional storytelling skills to shape compelling narratives.
• Fluency in AI tools and workflows to enhance research, drafting, and measurement processes.
• Experience working with PR analytics platforms and newswire services to distribute and measure content efficacy.
