Project Manager - Transaction Monitoring

emagine is a high-end professional services consultancy specializing in providing business and technology services to the financial services sector. We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the governance, validation, prioritization, and remediation of Transaction Monitoring models within a complex Financial Crime environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own and maintain the Transaction Monitoring model management roadmap, translating financial crime strategy and regulatory requirements into a clear delivery plan.
• Drive model prioritization activities, balancing regulatory commitments, model risk, validation findings, and operational impact.
• Coordinate model validation activities across multiple models, ensuring findings, recommendations, and risks are appropriately documented and managed.
• Work closely with Model Owners, Financial Crime SMEs, and Technology teams to support model development, implementation, and performance monitoring.
• Establish effective governance forums and reporting to provide visibility of key decisions, risks, dependencies, and progress.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Project Manager, Programme Manager, or Model Governance Lead within the Financial Services sector.
• Strong understanding of Transaction Monitoring, Financial Crime, AML, and Fraud Risk Management.
• Experience managing model validation, model governance, or related regulatory programs.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively across Risk, Compliance, Operations, Data, and Technology functions.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels, including senior leadership.
