Project Lead Practitioner

Crosslake Technologies is seeking a Project Lead Practitioner to join our team of experts dedicated to driving value creation through technology for private equity investors and portfolio companies. In this role, you will lead complex client engagements, bridging the gap between technical depth and commercial strategy to help organizations navigate critical technology decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Independently lead complex client engagements from scoping through to high-quality delivery, managing project teams and client expectations.
• Build credibility with senior investors and management teams by translating technical findings into clear, decision-useful narratives.
• Conduct technical due diligence to identify material risks and opportunities, prioritizing practical post-deal value-creation actions.
• Develop and apply a functional specialism while leading integrated, multidisciplinary client discussions.
• Support firm growth through excellent client relationship management, proposition development, and mentoring of colleagues.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in technology consulting, due diligence, strategy, or digital transformation.
• Proven track record of leading client-facing engagements and managing senior stakeholders.
• Strong technology fundamentals with demonstrable depth in a functional specialism like product engineering, cloud architecture, data and AI, or cybersecurity.
• Ability to synthesize complex technical details into compelling business insights and investment cases.
• Experience with private equity, transaction advisory, or high-growth technology businesses is strongly preferred.
