We are seeking a Production and Editorial Manager to oversee the production lifecycle and ensure the high-quality delivery of our enduring educational programs across digital, print, and multimedia platforms.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and manage concurrent production timelines for educational programs, social media, and print initiatives.
- Coordinate schedules across editorial, design, multimedia, and web teams to ensure timely project delivery.
- Serve as the final quality checkpoint for all materials, performing proofreading, copyediting, and formatting.
- Conduct comprehensive pre-launch quality assurance reviews to verify functionality, navigation, and user experience.
- Identify production bottlenecks and recommend workflow improvements to enhance efficiency and consistency.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, English, Journalism, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in proofreading, copyediting, or editorial production.
- Proven experience serving as a final quality control reviewer for published materials.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to balance multiple concurrent projects.
- High level of proficiency with Adobe Acrobat and experience with project management platforms.
