Product Security Engineer (m/f/d)

Aras Software is expanding its Product Security team and is seeking a dedicated Product Security Engineer to help secure our products, cloud platforms, and software development lifecycle. You will play a key role in advancing our security maturity by designing secure CI/CD pipelines and fostering a security-first engineering culture.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Kubernetes, and Azure technologies.
• Integrate automated security controls, including SAST, DAST, SCA, and container security, into the software delivery lifecycle.
• Collaborate with product and cloud engineering teams to conduct threat modeling, risk assessments, and secure design reviews.
• Develop automation solutions using Python, PowerShell, or Bash to reduce manual effort and accelerate secure delivery.
• Work closely with development teams to guide mitigation strategies and verify security protocols.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of hands-on experience with Jenkins or similar CI/CD platforms.
• Minimum 3 years of software development, automation, or scripting experience using Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Proven experience integrating security tooling into CI/CD pipelines and managing containerized environments.
• Solid understanding of cloud security principles, specifically within Azure or AWS ecosystems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently in an Agile environment.
