GE HealthCare is seeking a dedicated Product Security Assessment Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing internal product security testing for new releases, researching emerging threats, and simulating potential cybersecurity attacks to ensure the integrity of our products and services.
Key responsibilities
- Build and execute comprehensive testing to detect design flaws, vulnerabilities, and missing security controls.
- Utilize LLM and Agentic AI tools to instrument and orchestrate advanced security testing procedures.
- Author detailed reports that clearly illustrate security risks in both technical and business-oriented language.
- Investigate field issues related to cybersecurity and assess the impact of theoretical vulnerabilities across our product landscape.
- Research and apply innovative methods of attack simulation to stay ahead of industry trends.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, specifically within network, cloud, and reverse engineering domains.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in penetration testing.
- Strong familiarity with embedded device engineering, cloud technology stacks, binary analysis, debugging, and fuzzing.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and lead projects.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex problems and provide structured, reliable security solutions.
