Product Manager

Bitfocus is on a mission to help end homelessness by building and supporting Clarity Human Services, a vital technology platform used by communities nationwide. As a Product Manager, you will play a key role in shaping the future of this software, translating complex community needs into clear requirements and intuitive designs that empower those working on the front lines of homelessness response.

Key responsibilities

• Define, prioritize, and drive product enhancements based on user needs, market trends, and system capabilities.
• Produce clear, structured requirements and specifications, utilizing flowcharts and diagrams to guide the engineering team.
• Design and refine user workflows, wireframes, and prototypes, ensuring usability through testing and customer feedback.
• Partner with engineering, customer-facing teams, and stakeholders to align on priorities and manage the product backlog effectively.
• Identify risks early in the development cycle and use data-driven insights to make informed product decisions.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in product management, business analysis, or a related field.
• Proven ability to document software requirements and produce structured technical specifications.
• Strong user-centered design instincts with the ability to create user flows and prototypes.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Technical curiosity and a proactive approach to evaluating modern software tools and emerging technologies.
