Product Manager - Orchestration

Primer is a remote-first company seeking a Product Manager to join the Orchestration team. In this role, you will own a specific sub-area of the product, defining key problems, prioritizing initiatives, and driving outcomes while collaborating closely with engineering, design, and go-to-market teams.

Key responsibilities

• Own the outcomes for your product sub-area, from problem definition to final delivery.
• Plan and execute initiatives by writing detailed specifications and partnering with engineering teams.
• Represent your sub-area to merchants and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment.
• Make autonomous trade-offs regarding scope, quality, and technical debt to deliver value.

Requirements

• Proven track record of owning a product sub-area or significant feature set end-to-end.
• Ability to define complex problems independently based on ambiguous inputs.
• Strong technical fluency and comfort with data analysis.
• Experience in payments or fintech, specifically in areas like routing, processing, or PSP integration.
• Clear, structured communication skills suitable for a culture of written thinking.
