Product Manager - Financial Operations

Primer is building a unified infrastructure for global payments, and we are looking for a Product Manager to join our Financial Operations team. In this role, you will take ownership of a specific sub-area, defining key problems, prioritizing initiatives, and delivering impactful outcomes while working closely with a dedicated engineering team and design partners.

Key responsibilities

• Own the outcomes for your product sub-area, from problem definition to final delivery.
• Plan and execute initiatives by writing detailed specifications and managing the product roadmap.
• Partner effectively with engineering and design teams to ensure high-quality implementation.
• Represent your sub-area to merchants and internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment across the organization.

Requirements

• Proven track record of owning a product sub-area or significant feature set end-to-end.
• Ability to define complex problems independently and translate them into actionable solutions.
• Strong decision-making skills, with the ability to make autonomous trade-offs regarding scope, quality, and technical debt.
• Technical fluency sufficient to partner with engineers on feasibility and integration implications.
• Clear, structured communication skills to keep cross-functional teams aligned and surface risks early.
