Product Engineer / Product Builder - Backend or Full-stack

At Profitroom, we build hospitality software used by thousands of hotels and millions of guests. We are looking for Product Engineers who own technical solutions end-to-end, from understanding the problem and technical discovery to implementation, release, and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Leading backend services or shipping complete user-facing features across the stack.
• Validating feasibility and shaping the technical approach before the scope is locked.
• Selecting solutions that balance customer value, delivery speed, and maintainability.
• Testing, releasing, and monitoring solutions during rollout.
• Utilizing AI-augmented development workflows to improve engineering efficiency.
• Collaborating cross-functionally with Product Managers and QA teams.

Requirements

• Strong commercial experience in either backend (PHP/Laravel/Symfony) or full-stack (TypeScript/Vue.js/PHP) development.
• Proven ability to own a problem end-to-end rather than just executing tickets.
• Experience shipping software used by real customers and understanding the business impact.
• Ability to explain technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.
• Hands-on experience with AI coding environments like Claude Code or Cursor.
• Strong communication skills in both Polish and English.
