Product Engineer

About the role:

We are seeking a Product Engineer with strong fundamentals in modern web product development and a passion for augmenting engineering workflows with AI. You will help build advanced real estate analytics and investment tools—including interactive geospatial visualizations and server-side infrastructure—while leading the charge in applying cutting-edge AI techniques to improve developer efficiency and software quality. This role is ideal for engineers who have recently focused on AI-driven code generation, prompt engineering, agentic systems, and protocols like MCP, and are excited to use these innovations to reshape the way high-quality software is designed, built, and maintained.

Responsibilities:

• Execute full software development life cycle (SDLC) for fullstack applications
• Develop real estate analytics products with sophisticated geospatial and data visualizations
• Architect and implement frontend interfaces with React/Redux and backend node/typescript APIs
• Apply prompt engineering and agentic AI systems (e.g., OpenAI Assistants, GPT Agents) to accelerate software delivery
• Design and operationalize workflows that integrate AI-generated code with existing engineering pipelines
• Build internal tools or agents that optimize tasks such as testing, refactoring, documentation, and code reviews
• Collaborate on best practices for human-AI pair programming, including prompt tuning and feedback loops
• Evaluate and experiment with new AI development tools, including MCP protocol frameworks and LangChain-style orchestration
• Continuously improve CI/CD pipelines and developer experience

Required Qualifications:

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience, with fullstack capabilities
• Proficiency with modern full-stack engineering:
• >Frontend: TypeScript and modern frameworks (React, Redux)
• >Backend: Python (Flask, FastAPI, Django) and/or Node.js
• API Development: Experience building and consuming REST and/or GraphQL APIs
• Demonstrated experience in applying AI technologies to software engineering tasks (e.g., prompt engineering, Copilot, GPT integration, etc.)
• Familiarity with LLM development patterns, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and agentic tooling

Nice to Have:

• Experience integrating AI agents into engineering workflows (e.g., planning, coding, QA, deployment)
• Familiarity with MCP (Multi-Agent Communication Protocol) or similar standards
• Hands-on experience with LangChain, AutoGen, CrewAI, OpenAI Assistants API, or ReAct-style agents
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL, Docker, Kubernetes, and material UI frameworks
• Data visualization tools (e.g., D3.js, Deck.gl) and geospatial data handling
• Early-stage startup or fast-growth environment experience
