Product Engineer (Golang)

dotLinkers is seeking a Senior Product Engineer to join a team building an innovative AI-powered platform for image and video generation. You will take ownership of backend systems, focusing on reliable service architecture, asynchronous job processing, and infrastructure performance to support content creators at scale.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain backend services and APIs that support AI character creation and media generation.
• Design scalable data models and backend architecture to handle increasing workloads.
• Develop reliable background processing workflows, including queues, retries, and error handling.
• Improve automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and release processes to ensure safe deployments.
• Monitor production systems, investigate incidents, and optimize performance and observability.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in backend software engineering.
• Strong proficiency with Go and PostgreSQL.
• Proven experience building and operating production-grade backend systems.
• Solid understanding of asynchronous processing, job queues, workers, and idempotency.
• Ability to take full ownership of systems and make sound technical decisions.
