Product Engineer (Golang)

dotLinkers is seeking a Senior Product Engineer to join a team building an innovative AI-powered platform for image and video generation. You will take ownership of backend systems, focusing on reliability, performance, and the architecture required to scale AI content creation for creators and influencers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain robust backend services and APIs that support AI character creation and media generation.
• Design scalable data models and backend architecture to handle increasing workloads.
• Develop reliable background processing workflows, including complex queues, retries, and error handling.
• Improve automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and release processes to ensure safe and efficient deployments.
• Monitor production systems, investigate incidents, and optimize performance to ensure high reliability.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in backend software engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Go and PostgreSQL.
• Proven experience building and operating production-grade backend systems.
• Solid understanding of asynchronous processing, job queues, workers, and idempotency.
• Ability to take full ownership of systems and make sound technical decisions in a fast-paced environment.
