Process Consultant / Analyst

About the role

Moondigo is looking for an SDLC Process Consultant / Analyst to help assess and redesign software delivery processes in a mid-to-large IT organization.

This is not a classic project management role and not a pure DevOps or software development engineering role. We are looking for someone who understands how software delivery works in practice and can analyse current workflows, identify bottlenecks, facilitate workshops with technical teams, and design practical improvements across requirements, development, testing, release and governance.

What you will do

• Analyse the current SDLC process across requirements, backlog, development, testing, CI/CD, release and maintenance.

• Conduct interviews and workshops with developers, tech leads, architects, QA, DevOps, PMs, business analysts and IT managers.

• Map current processes, roles, handovers, dependencies, decision points, tools and pain points.

• Identify bottlenecks, quality issues, unclear responsibilities, process gaps and delivery risks.

• Design target-state SDLC processes, including roles, artefacts, standards, quality gates, metrics and governance.

• Prepare clear recommendations, improvement roadmap, process documentation and materials for technical and management stakeholders.

Who we are looking for

You may be a good fit if you have experience as a Process Analyst, System Analyst, Software Engineer, Technical PM, Delivery Consultant, QA Lead or Software Delivery Consultant.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience in analysing or improving IT / software delivery processes.

• Understands how modern software teams work in practice.

• Can speak with both technical teams and management.

• Can structure ambiguous information and turn it into clear findings and recommendations.

• Understands the basics of SDLC, backlog management, Git, code review, CI/CD, testing, release management and environments.

• Writes clearly and can prepare process maps, summaries, recommendations and decision materials.

Must have

• 4-5+ years of experience in IT delivery, business/system analysis, process analysis, software delivery consulting or technical project work.

• Practical understanding of SDLC and software delivery lifecycle.

• Experience in workshops, interviews, stakeholder management and requirements/process analysis.

• Ability to document processes, findings and recommendations in a structured way.

Nice to have

• Understanding of Software Engineering, requirements analysis, DevOps, CI/CD, quality engineering, platform engineering

• Experience with developer productivity, Developer Experience or AI-assisted software delivery.

• Previous consulting experience.

• Experience in banking, insurance or other enterprise IT environments.

This role is not for you if

• You want a purely hands-on development or DevOps engineering role.

• You focus only on Agile ceremonies and team facilitation.

• You prefer high-level strategy without detailed process analysis.

• You are not comfortable working with technical stakeholders.
