Principal Vue.js/Node.js Engineer (Swedish Ad Platform)

Sigma Software is seeking a Principal Vue.js/Node.js Engineer to join a strategic project for a leading Swedish AdTech innovator. You will act as a technical visionary, driving the transition toward a scalable, API-driven architecture while leading cross-functional teams in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Translate complex business goals into actionable technical solutions and scalable architectures.
• Lead cross-functional delivery teams including developers, designers, and DevOps engineers.
• Provide architectural oversight throughout the development lifecycle to ensure high quality and continuity.
• Mentor engineering staff, conduct code reviews, and guide the technical growth of the team.
• Manage distributed development efforts across multiple time zones effectively.

Requirements

• 6+ years of hands-on experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, Vue.js, and Node.js.
• Proven expertise in microservices architecture and distributed systems integration.
• Strong experience with AWS Lambda or similar serverless technologies.
• Deep understanding of plugin-based systems and extensibility in complex environments.
• Fluent English communication skills for managing enterprise-level stakeholders.
