Principal Technical Product Owner

Xebia is seeking a highly technical Principal Product Owner to lead the evolution of a developer platform focused on simplifying application deployment and operations. You will define the platform vision and strategy, working closely with engineering teams to build intuitive infrastructure and workflow capabilities that abstract away cloud complexity.

Key responsibilities

• Defining and owning the platform vision, strategy, and long-term product roadmap.
• Translating developer needs and business objectives into platform capabilities and product initiatives.
• Prioritizing the product backlog and driving roadmap execution based on business value and technical impact.
• Collaborating closely with engineering teams and architects on platform evolution, scalability, and security.
• Designing intuitive developer experiences and simplifying deployment and operational workflows.

Requirements

• Extensive experience as a Technical Product Owner, Tech Lead, Staff Engineer, or in a similar engineering leadership role.
• Proven experience owning developer-focused platform products or Internal Developer Platforms.
• Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures, Kubernetes, Docker, and infrastructure automation.
• Solid understanding of platform architecture, including multi-tenancy, control planes, and service orchestration.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to bridge engineering and business perspectives.
