Principal Solutions Architect

Solo.io is a leading innovator in API and Service Mesh Management, helping global enterprises connect, secure, and observe modern applications. We are seeking a Principal Solutions Architect to join our team and serve as a trusted technical advisor for our most strategic customers.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical point of contact, developing a deep understanding of customer use cases, architecture, and business goals.
• Lead technical issue resolution and provide hands-on support to ensure the effective implementation of our solutions.
• Proactively drive product adoption by identifying new opportunities and consulting on best practices within the customer environment.
• Develop and deliver technical training sessions and workshops to empower customer teams.
• Serve as the customer advocate within Solo.io, providing critical feedback to our product management and engineering teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role such as a Solutions Architect, Site Reliability Engineer, or Senior Support Engineer.
• Deep expertise in cloud-native technologies, specifically Kubernetes, service mesh like Istio, and API gateways like Envoy.
• Proven track record of managing technical relationships with large, strategic accounts in a post-sales capacity.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
