Principal Solutions Architect (Frontend Focused)

Andersen is seeking a Principal Solutions Architect with a strong focus on frontend development to join an international project. You will be responsible for building scalable, high-performance headless commerce solutions for global retail brands, leveraging modern technologies and AI-powered engineering practices.

Key responsibilities

• Own the frontend architecture using Next.js, React, and TypeScript.
• Lead technical decisions regarding SSR, edge/serverless rendering, state management, and Core Web Vitals.
• Translate complex business needs into technical architecture roadmaps through direct client collaboration.
• Define coding standards optimized for both engineering teams and AI-assisted development.
• Resolve technical ambiguity and provide guidance to distributed engineering teams.

Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience leading frontend architecture decisions for distributed teams.
• Deep proficiency in React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
• Proven track record in architecting enterprise-level commerce platforms such as Shopify Plus or Salesforce Commerce Cloud.
• Strong expertise in performance engineering, specifically regarding Core Web Vitals and CDN optimization.
• Excellent English communication skills with the ability to explain technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.
