Principal Solutions Architect (Front-End Focused)

Andersen is seeking a Principal Solutions Architect with a strong focus on front-end development to join a project dedicated to building scalable headless commerce solutions for global retail brands. You will play a pivotal role in optimizing web performance and shaping the technical direction of high-impact digital platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design and own front-end architectures using Next.js, React, and TypeScript for enterprise-grade commerce solutions.
• Lead architectural decisions regarding rendering strategies, state management, and Core Web Vitals optimization.
• Define coding standards and conventions optimized for both engineering teams and AI-assisted development.
• Collaborate with clients to translate complex business requirements into actionable technical roadmaps.
• Resolve technical ambiguity and provide guidance to distributed engineering teams to ensure project success.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience leading front-end architecture decisions for distributed engineering teams.
• Deep proficiency in React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
• Proven track record in architecting enterprise commerce platforms such as Shopify Plus or Salesforce Commerce Cloud.
• Strong expertise in performance engineering and Core Web Vitals optimization.
• Experience structuring specifications and documentation for AI agent execution.
• Excellent English communication skills, capable of explaining technical tradeoffs to non-technical stakeholders.
