Principal Engineering Manager (remote within EMEA)

FYUL is a fast-growing global company powering on-demand commerce at scale. We are looking for a Principal Engineering Manager to lead a critical engineering area, raise the bar for product delivery, and foster a culture of high engineering standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers by providing clear direction, context, and constructive feedback.
• Partner closely with Product and Design teams to shape solutions from the earliest stages of development.
• Own the delivery process from problem definition to execution, ensuring clarity, alignment, and momentum.
• Drive predictable execution through thoughtful planning and transparency regarding progress and risks.
• Maintain a high bar for engineering quality, scalability, and maintainability across all systems.

Requirements

• Significant experience leading engineering teams within a product-focused company.
• A strong track record of delivering complex products or systems in a fast-moving environment.
• Ability to operate comfortably in both technical and product-focused discussions.
• Strong ownership mindset with the ability to bring clarity to ambiguous situations.
• Clear communication skills and a practical, execution-oriented approach to leadership.
