Principal Commercial Data Architect

7N is seeking an experienced Principal Commercial Data Architect to lead a strategic transformation initiative within a global, innovation-driven organization. You will shape the future of commercial data architecture by building a scalable, AI-ready foundation that supports Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, and Commercial Operations.

Key responsibilities

• Design and evolve a scalable Commercial Service Backbone supporting diverse business applications and data products.
• Create and maintain conceptual, logical, and domain data models, taxonomies, and enterprise data standards.
• Apply Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles to establish clear, scalable business domains.
• Define architecture for critical entities including customer data, master data, and commercial contracts.
• Design and govern event-driven integration patterns and API-based communication across platforms.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in data architecture, solution architecture, or enterprise data management.
• Advanced expertise in conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling and Master Data Management (MDM).
• Strong understanding of commercial business domains and cloud-based platforms like Snowflake, AWS, or Azure.
• Hands-on experience with Event-Driven Architecture (EDA) and messaging technologies such as Kafka or AMQP.
• Knowledge of AI-ready data architectures, semantic layers, and modern data engineering ecosystems.
