Polish STEM Expert - Fully Remote | Upto $54/hr Part-time

Mercor is a San Francisco-based company connecting elite technical talent with leading AI research labs. We are currently seeking a Bilingual Polish STEM Expert to contribute to AI safety initiatives by leveraging deep scientific knowledge to evaluate and refine model performance.

Key responsibilities

• Write expert-level prompts in Polish across specialized scientific topics.
• Evaluate and annotate model responses for scientific accuracy, helpfulness, and appropriate handling of sensitive content.
• Apply structured guidelines to classify prompts and conversations effectively.
• Collaborate with AI teams to ensure models handle specialized technical topics in Polish safely.
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet project goals while improving AI model safety.

Requirements

• PhD in chemistry, biology, or a closely related field.
• Native or near-native fluency in Polish and business-level written English.
• Deep familiarity with modern laboratory and computational techniques.
• Sound judgment regarding scientific safety and the responsible handling of dual-use information.
• Demonstrated depth in a specific subfield such as organic synthesis or molecular biology.
