Platform Engineer (Azure & Databricks)

Cyclad is partnering with leading international IT companies to deliver cutting-edge technology solutions. We are currently seeking an experienced Platform Engineer to join our DevOps team and support the development of a Revenue Growth Management pricing platform for the Austrian market.

Key responsibilities

• Provision and manage Azure data platform infrastructure using Terraform.
• Deploy and configure Azure Databricks workspaces and supporting Azure services.
• Administer Databricks compute, cluster policies, SQL warehouses, and Unity Catalog resources.
• Implement Azure RBAC and Databricks access controls using Microsoft Entra ID.
• Develop production-quality Bash scripts for provisioning, deployment, and operational automation.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Azure, cloud, or platform engineering.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Azure Databricks.
• At least 2 years of production-level Terraform experience.
• Strong proficiency in Bash for infrastructure and operational automation.
• Advanced knowledge of Azure networking, identity management, and Azure DevOps pipelines.
• Ability to independently troubleshoot complex infrastructure, security, and deployment issues.
