Platform Engineer – Agent Promotion & Rollback

Intellias is seeking a skilled Platform Engineer to join a project focused on building an enterprise-grade AI Agent Platform from the ground up. You will play a key role in designing and automating the lifecycle of AI agents, ensuring reliable deployment, promotion, and rollback processes within a complex, global environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement agent promotion workflows across development, QA, and production environments.
• Build automated quality gates that validate agents before promotion to higher environments.
• Implement rollback mechanisms to safely restore previous production agent versions.
• Automate post-deployment validation including health checks and smoke tests.
• Collaborate with AI and platform engineering teams to establish reliable CI/CD and lifecycle management practices for agents.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in platform or backend engineering, specifically with AI/ML systems.
• Strong proficiency in Python automation for agent lifecycle operations.
• Proven experience with multi-environment deployment, promotion workflows, and rollback automation.
• Ability to enforce quality gates in deployment pipelines to ensure safety and accuracy.
