Key responsibilities
- Critically evaluate and review complex physics solutions, mathematical derivations, and theoretical arguments generated by AI platforms.
- Identify errors, missing assumptions, dimensional inconsistencies, and logical weaknesses in scientific methodology.
- Provide technically precise written feedback that distinguishes between substantive scientific issues and stylistic matters.
- Utilize tools such as LaTeX, SymPy, Python, and Jupyter to independently verify or counter-check scientific claims.
- Deliver structured, actionable guidance to support the iterative enhancement of AI-generated research outputs.
Requirements
- PhD in physics with an active record of independent research in a specialized subfield such as Quantum Information, Cosmology, or Condensed Matter.
- Professional experience as a postdoctoral researcher, research fellow, or junior/assistant professor.
- Recent representative publications in your field, demonstrating a strong academic background.
- Advanced proficiency in LaTeX, SymPy, Python, and Jupyter for theoretical modeling and computational validation.
- Proven ability to provide nuanced, constructive peer review or supervision within an academic or research setting.
